21,007 STEP UP CHALLENGE
September 10 - October 10, 2022

We ask you to join us in honoring the 21,007 people who lost their lives to suicide in Japan last year by taking action, whether solo or as part of a group, to raise awareness and funds while creating hope!

You can choose to commit to the challenge in a way that you find the most meaningful. One option is to use your fitness tracker by setting a one-day goal of walking 21,007 steps. However, walking isn’t the only option - whether you’re running, cycling, swimming, dancing for 21,007 seconds, or writing a 21,007 character story- whatever you choose to do, it all matters.

After signing up, let us know what you will be doing, and don't forget to take photos or videos to document the process so we can share your efforts on social media. That will help us make a noise about this important issue and is a very welcome way to show your support for mental health.

In addition to participating in the challenge yourself, you can also participate in our cup events! We will hold a school cup, a community cup, and a corporate cup. Got a friendly rivalry with another firm, school, or neighbor? Want to see which department is the fittest or most persuasive? We have a way for you to resolve these questions!

JOIN A NATIONWIDE CUP

There are incentives for being the winner of either the fundraising or the awareness categories, where your efforts will be announced on October 10. There will still be a great trophy for winning either competition and on the awareness side, we will have two judges decide which team leveraged their creative talents best to effectively reach the most people!
